And now for something completely different

I had a spot of non-blog writing to do this evening, so no figures painted or anything like that tonight.

In other news, Mrs Kinch has started decorating the kitchen. She's very fond of cartoons and has been picking out appropriate ones from the New Yorker to have framed. I may be allowed add a few from Punch.

I thought this one was rather good and worthy of sharing.

  1. Love it! If you are permitted to add one or two of your own from Punch, please do share them here.

    Best Regards,

    1. I will indeed - we actually have some French cartoons in the hall, a gift from Mrs Kinch's great uncle. My favourite a one which shows a solicitor defending himself before the bench. "Of course, I defend the widow and orphan your honour, at least by not attacking them!"

  2. Some ideas for wargaming attire for the nest game at chez Kinch I hope...
    Hope the writing went well.

    1. I am a touch beefy to carry off a cravat.

The writing went fair to middling and I should do more of it.

  4. I love the old Punch cartoons - we've got some very old ones (c. 1905) in our office.
