Peninsular Battles (British)

We've been playing Command & Colours Napoleonics since it became available and it has been tremendous fun. I've been cataloguing our efforts for a while now.

Several readers have said that they've found the blog difficult to navigate, so I've collected the battle reports here, along with some supplementary material.

I eventually hope to have played all the scenarios in the basic set and we'll then proceed on to the Spanish expansion.

The Burial of Sir John Moore at Corunna

I'm mildly obsessed with the battle of Corunna. I'm not entirely sure why, there's something about it. Here's a piece I wrote about the battle, a short introduction to the strategic situation.

The Battle of Salamanca - 22nd July 1812

Salamanca (Grande Bataille)

This is a battle report that I stole from Donogh's blog because I was too lazy to write my own. This report covers a large battle that we played by sticking the two Salamanca scenarios together and using a modified Memoir '44 Overlord deck.

We've played this scenario several times, this is probably one of the best in the box.
