Latest arrival

On a non-wargaming related note, here is some footage of our latest
arrival; Sir Harry Flashman VC. He's just all tuckered out.

You get some strange looks at the vet with that name I can tell you.

  1. They're probably wondering what he did to earn the VC and a knighthood at such an early age.

  3. Hi CK,

They are very cute when they are asleep and even at 11 years of age our eldest feline can still rustle up the cute factor on demand (it must be a cat thing) - her latest exploit was spending most of the day asleep in the laundry basket.

    A welcome addition!

    All the best,

    DC

  4. If it is Sir Harry, he is probably just playing dead. After all, you might want him to do some damn' fool mission, so you can never really be "too careful".

  5. I wish you joy of your new addition! Cats truly make a home (we have two - one lump, and one ginger rapscallion who was clearly made for a life strutting the worlds stage in thigh high boots and wilding a rapier), dogs however truly make a life.. :o))

  6. Ross - I'll admit, it wasn't easy!

MT, DC - Definately, hours of entertainment.

Dale - you're probably right. We shall see.

STW - We were dog sitting over the weekend. I think I'll stick to cats.

  7. My wife read your blog entry over my shoulder. All she kept saying was 'Oh! How sweet!'

I shall remind her of that tomorrow morning when our black and white female cat wakes her up at 5.00am and demands breakfast!

We have two black and white cats (one male, called Big Boy, and one female called Jazz) and a frequent visitor called Fluffy.

    Enjoy your new addition.

    All the best,

    Bob

  8. Ah, excellent! (although, I'm thinking about some day when you have to go around calling for the cat... not that they answer unless they feel like it.)

Mark Twain wrote "A home without a cat -- and a well-fed, well-petted and properly revered cat -- may be a perfect home, perhaps, but how can it prove title?"

  9. Around midnight our alley cat made a wide semicircle around a skunk, out of the killzone but still in the casualty radius, then set up a hull-down defilade ambush under an abandoned van to pretend it was going to ambush the skunk, who ignored the cat throughout.

  10. Bob - we shall!

Fitzbadger - I could not agree more, though I must admit I had to look up what prove title meant.

Mecklenberg - our two are short on tactical finesse.
