Mrs Kinch was staying with her mother last night because I was in work, so I took the opportunity to do some work on the wargames room. This is going to be a task and a half and it's one that is still underway. I brought my computer in and watched "American Gangster" on DVD while packing, organising and generally setting about the place. excellent film, you can't go wrong with Scott, Washington and Crowe.
While I was at it, I started bundling up some stuff from projects that are stalled, abandoned or otherwise no longer of service. They will be appearing here irregularly or I will be contacting chaps who I think they may be of use to directly.
First on the list is this Roman Villa. It's made of paper and it'll fit in an A4 envelope. Actually, it's sealed and has never been opened. Free to the first chap that's interested, leave a comment and I'll get in touch.
My main concern at the moment is trying to store terrain without wrecking it. My current plan involved document boxes and cut foam. We shall see if this works.
I think you have your work cut out for you Sir!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with it!

Hi Conrad,
ReplyDeleteThat Roman villa would be a great objective for my late Romans to protect from the Gothic hordes!
My wargames room is worse than yours! The Roman Villa would add to the clutter very nicely.
ReplyDeleteAve!
Conrad, if still available, I would be interested. I'm "redmist1122" on TMP. Thanks. Greg
ReplyDeleteGood Luck - I think you will need it!
ReplyDelete.
One of my pledges in 2012 was to clear the attic where all my wargames gear and painting table are, but I have struggled to get started on it
Don'y you find that if you get rid of anything wargames related within six months you find a use for it?
Thank heavens. The last time I visited the room it was so cluttered that I didn't dare step out of your iPhone!
